The tragedy in Minnesota comes as Congress faces a decision this week
about whether to continue bankrolling the violence and chaos caused by ICE
– an agency increasingly used as Trump’s personal army of terror.

If you’re feeling distraught, here are three concrete ways you can make a
difference right now:

 1. [ [link removed] ]Call your senators today. tell them to vote NO on the Department of
Homeland Security funding bill that keeps ICE operating with impunity.
 2. Back candidates who are speaking out when others won’t. We’ve
identified 10 candidates in key Senate and House races who have spoken
out boldly against ICE, while many of their primary opponents have
not. For example, in Maine the incumbent governor now running for U.S.
Senate flew across the country for a fundraiser while ICE swept
through her state.) [ [link removed] ]Chip in $3 to thank candidates who chose
courage over silence – and help them win.
 3. Support Minnesota groups protecting families on the ground. We’ve
identified three trusted organizations doing rapid response, mutual
aid, and organizing right now: Unidos MN, Faith in Minnesota, and
TakeAction MN. [ [link removed] ]Donate $10 each to help keep families together and
build the people-powered response needed to stop this violence.

More info is available on the links above. Please pass this email to
others who are feeling distraught and want to take meaningful action – or
post on social media.

Thanks for being a bold progressive.
