Hi John,

My opponent Rep. Derek Kilmer has millions of dollars in corporate cash to throw at TV ads.

But progressive challengers have won against the odds before.

I’m letting Democratic voters know about Kilmer’s weaknesses and my strengths, so they see that this year they have a choice: a progressive Democrat to vote for.

Can you give $3 now so I can let voters know they have a strong progressive Democrat to vote for?

Kilmer’s weaknesses are:

  • His signature on a letter supporting Mitt Romney’s plan to cut Social Security. He’s privately walked this signature back, but he hasn’t publicly retracted it, and he was the only Democrat in Washington state who signed the letter.

  • His vote on the Appropriations Committee to give $50 billion to DHS, even as DHS kidnaps protestors in unmarked vans. DHS is acting as Trump’s secret police.

  • His votes for Trump’s agenda: the Patriot Act, Trump’s border wall, Trump’s defense budget, funding ICE without sufficient protections for children ripped from their parents.

  • In 2014, he voted for keeping the police militarized.

  • His misleading TV ad claiming he’s for “universal health care,” when his plan would leave 10-15 million people uninsured.

  • And much more.

My strengths are that I have never wavered on protecting and expanding Social Security.

I would never fund Trump’s secret police.

I would never vote for Trump’s agenda, and I believe children belong with their parents.

I will fight to demilitarize the police, end cash bail, and invest in Black communities in WA-06 and across America.

I’m the only candidate in this race who supports Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, a federal jobs guarantee, and $2K cash a month until this coronavirus crisis is over. Can you give $3 now to help me win, so I can fight for these priorities in Congress?

As the first Congresswoman from Washington’s 6th District, I will fight for equality and for an America where everyone belongs: not just Kilmer’s rich donors.
