Herbert: I just walked off the debate stage, and I'm feeling energized.

Any time I get to talk about tackling the issues hardworking families are facing, I leave feeling optimistic about our state and our country's future.

But here's the deal – our election is just weeks away, and a dark money super PAC has reserved nearly half a million dollars worth of ad space for the next week.

We have no clue what special interests are backing this super PAC.

What we do know is they're using shady tactics and their dark money to mislead Illinois voters.

Voters are heading to the polls soon, and before they go, they're going to be flooded with misinformation from this super PAC. We can’t afford not to fight back, Herbert.
