Tonight, Illinois saw exactly what this race is about. I just stepped off the debate stage, and I made something crystal clear.

Unlike my opponents:

I am not the candidate who is going to thank ICE after they attack Chicago and our immigrant communities.

Who will fight for Medicare for All — and against Republicans’ cruel cuts to health care.

Who will fight to make life more affordable, tax corporations, and raise the minimum wage to $25 an hour.

I am the candidate who will always go to the mat to fight for YOU. Who will fight for the people of Illinois — not corporate special interests.
