They lied about Renee Good. A mother, not a domestic terrorist.
They lied about Alex Pretti. A VA nurse, not an assassin.
They lied. Period.
So, here are some facts you can count on:
I am going to vote against the Department of Homeland Security budget later this week because under Trump it is a rogue agency without any accountability.
I am going to continue fighting Donald Trump’s war on our democracy, and I sure as hell won’t let them shut me up.
And I am going to do everything in my power to help elect Democrats to the House and Senate this November, because that’s the only way we can put real limits on Donald Trump and this Administration.
This is a deeply, deeply concerning moment. It is okay to be afraid. But courage does not exist without fear.
Do not let them take your voice from you.
