Dear Friend --
I hope this email finds you and your loved ones safe and
well.
When I last reached out, CLUE had just held its first
virtual Giants of Justice fundraiser.
If you missed it, you can still view the program stream here. And if you watch nothing else, go to 1:32:43 and watch the
incredibly moving performance below with some tissues
nearby!
The generosity shown by
people like you has been wonderful, but we need to raise $10,000 more
by July 30th to continue to improve the plights of low-wage workers in
coming months.
Now, more than ever we need to work together to
support our neighbors who are suffering.
The good news is, if you can donate today, your gift will be matched
dollar-for-dollar. The bad news is, without your help, the
challenge grant put up by generous donors will evaporate.
With your support…
- You connect our vulnerable siblings to the services and
resources that will keep them healthy and safe in the short term, and
help them thrive in the long term.
- You act in solidarity with workers and immigrants, calling
on lawmakers and employers to enact policies that lean into equity and
compassion over economics and profiteering.
- You make visible the suffering of people on the margins, so
it can be addressed, and ultimately eradicated.
Together, we make health, dignity, and safety more real for
workers on the margins.
Thank you for undertaking this crucial
work and thank you for donating while your dollars can be
matched!
In solidarity,
Michelle Seyler, Executive Director
