Only the people of this country can stop the ICE terror campaign. The historic general strike in Minnesota last Friday was a milestone in the fight against Trump's mass deportations and the racist brutality of ICE. Just one day after the people shut it down, federal agents murdered Alex Pretti in broad daylight simply for exercising his First Amendment right to protest. Now we need to take the historic mass movement nationwide!

Student organizers who were part of the mass action in Minnesota are now calling for a national shutdown this Friday. The ANSWER Coalition is joining with hundreds of organizations in taking part in this day of no work, no school, and no shopping. 

ICE and Border Patrol won't end their reign of terror unless the people take a stand and stop them. We cannot passively beg politicians to do the right thing. The people's true power lies in the fact that we make society run. If we don't go to work, if we don't engage in commerce and boycott classes, then nothing functions. The rich and powerful will have no choice but to take notice.
