Friend,
This past weekend, Shelby County faced yet another winter storm , one that disrupted lives, strained families, and reminded us how vulnerable too many of our neighbors still are when extreme weather hits.
Across our county, people worried about icy roads, power outages, missed work, and whether their homes were safe and warm. Many checked on elderly neighbors, shared resources, and stepped up for one another, because that’s what community looks like.
But it also raised a hard truth: too many families are left to figure things out on their own when crises hit.
Leadership matters most in moments like these. It means planning ahead, communicating clearly, and making sure help reaches people before problems turn into emergencies. It means investing in infrastructure, emergency preparedness, and support systems that don’t disappear when the headlines fade.
That’s one of the reasons I’m running for Shelby County Mayor.
I believe county government should be a partner to its people — especially during difficult moments. We need leadership that takes responsibility seriously and makes sure every neighborhood is seen, heard, and supported.
This campaign is about building that kind of leadership — and it’s powered by people who believe Shelby County can do better.
Your contribution today helps us:
* Reach voters across the county
* Organize volunteers and community leaders
* Build a people-powered campaign focused on preparedness, compassion, and accountability
If you’re able, please chip in $15, $25, or whatever you can to help us keep building a Shelby County that’s ready to show up for its people, in every season. [[link removed]]
