Trump’s federal agents are terrorizing our communities, and this weekend's horrific shooting in Minnesota shows exactly why we cannot allow this to continue.

Protesters are facing military-grade weapons in our neighborhoods. Onlookers are getting fatally dragged into conflict.

These rogues cannot keep murdering our community members with impunity.

This escalation is entirely the result of Trump’s agenda of fear and intimidation. Trump’s MAGA regime wants us to be afraid.

But what I see is courage. Connection. People showing up for each other even when the risk is great.

These people deserve the same courage from their elected officials, their public servants.

That's why you have my pledge that as California's next Governor, you can count on me to protect California residents from Donald Trump’s secret police forces.

And it's why today, I'm standing with everyone who says ICE, and any other of Trump’s poorly trained, unaccountable militias can't receive another dollar. There's a big vote in Congress this week, and I urge you to call your Senators and demand they hold the line. Tell them 'Not another cent for these forces, no matter the stakes.'
