 John, This weekend, an American citizen was needlessly killed by Border Patrol. At this point, it is undeniable that ICE and Border Patrol are acting without any accountability. Their agents are refusing to identify themselves, hiding behind masks, using excessive force, and violating our Fourth Amendment protections against illegal search and seizure. Simply put, ICE and CBP are terrorizing our communities, and bringing chaos and death. They are not keeping the peace. They are not making us safer. This siege, both in Minneapolis and in other Blue cities, must end immediately. ICE and CBP must be held accountable for their crimes. I will continue to fight to ensure that ICE doesn't receive another penny while they are out of control. And I will lobby our Senators to hold the line and do the same. Laura
