I served 25 years in the Army, and what we saw this weekend was un-American. I also never believed I'd live to see the day where the response to federal agents killing an American citizen was for government officials to lie about him, calling him an "assassin."

He was a VA nurse whose last act was helping a woman pushed down by a border patrol agent.
