I woke up today angry as hell.

So far this month, immigration agents in Minneapolis have murdered two innocent people. They have replaced Constitutional order with violent occupation. They have committed more violations of civil rights, human rights, and basic moral decency than one can count.

So far this month, Trump illegally invaded Venezuela and captured their President in collusion with Big Oil. He has threatened to invade Greenland too, and destroyed relations with our allies in the process.

So far this month, ACA premiums have doubled for millions of working class Americans due to Trump’s budget cuts, and his administration rolled back childhood vaccine recommendations in a move that will cost the lives of our babies and kids.

If you’re anything like me, you’re tired of waking up angry as hell. But you’re not crazy — every single day this administration does something reprehensible and damaging to the health and future of our nation.

But as you may know, I have a motto: Don’t agonize, organize. It’s time for strong actions, not just strong words.

So with that in mind, the Senate will soon be asked to vote on a package of spending that includes tens of billions of dollars for DHS and ICE. I am going to vote against it, and if 40 Democrats join me, we can block this funding until Trump ends the crisis he has created.

But that means Trump, Republicans, the far-right media, the billionaire class, and Super PACs of all kinds are most likely preparing to come down hard on me in an attempt to make me cave.

So please: Make a donation to stand with me today and be part of the movement to stand up to Trump’s authoritarian agenda. No more funding for DHS and ICE as they terrorize our nation and kill people in the streets. The time has come to defend our democracy.
