David Jolly [ [link removed] ], a former Republican Congressman from Florida, was one of the few Never Trump figures who walked the walk all the way out of Congress in the era of Trump.
He’s a friend, a good man, and is presently running for Governor of Florida as a Democrat against a degenerate Trump worshipper.
But this brief, even-minute speech is about something bigger than that campaign. Bigger than Florida. It’s the kind of speech we need every candidate in this nation to watch and learn from.
Moral clarity is rare in politics. Great moments where rhetoric and inspiration meet are vanishingly rare. This is one of those moments.
