Recently, Trump-appointed officials at the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) proposed new rules that seek to restrict access to trans health care for youth. But these rules are not finalized—and there is still time to fight back!
CMS is required by law to have an open comment period for proposed rules, which gives the public 60 days to weigh in and submit their thoughts to the agency.
On Monday, February 9, at 6:00 PM EST, A4TE experts will go over the rules and demonstrate how to submit a public comment in a live webinar!

If implemented, one of the proposed rules would allow the Trump administration to withhold funding from hospitals that provide gender-affirming care to minor patients. This rule could cause harm to anyone who seeks affordable care at a hospital, not just trans youth and their families.
