Pontiac, Mich.– Oakland County today provided an update on its Legionella testing efforts, including results from both investigation-related sampling and the county’s recently launched routine testing program.
As part of the ongoing public health investigation at the Oakland County Circuit Court Tower, 23 samples were collected on Jan. 13 and 14, with results reported to the county on Jan. 23. One sample returned a detect for Legionella, down from three detects in the previous round of testing, reflecting continued progress as remediation efforts move forward under established state and federal guidelines.
