The EU is racing to sign a trade deal with the United Arab Emirates – the
same UAE accused of funneling European weapons into the hands of a militia
accused of genocide in Sudan.
We can stop this deal if we act fast. Sign the petition now.

John,
European lawmakers are moving forward with negotiations for a free trade
agreement with the United Arab Emirates — despite serious allegations that
the UAE is helping smuggle European-made arms into Sudan’s civil war.
These weapons have fueled systematic rape, starvation, and mass killings
by the RSF militia.
150,000 dead and 13 million displaced. But we can stop this.
All around the world, people are sounding the alarm — backed by NGOs and
human rights experts — to call out the UAE’s links to war crimes. If we
act now, together, we can stop this deal in its tracks and demand peace
over profit.

with the UAE until the arms transfers are investigated and stopped.
The Sudan conflict is devastating.
More than 150,000 people are already dead. Over 13 million have been
forced from their homes. Entire cities are under siege. And the evidence
is mounting: European-made weapons, traced to the RSF militia, are fueling
this horror — and many are passing through the UAE.
Some EU politicians want to use the trade deal as leverage — but that
doesn’t work if talks quietly continue. The only moral path is to pause
negotiations entirely until there’s accountability. Otherwise, Europe is
putting a price tag on Sudanese lives and clearing the path for further
atrocities.
The UAE has denied everything — but credible investigations from Amnesty
International, the UN, and Sudanese officials point to a disturbing
pattern of arms transfers.
And instead of stopping the deal, some EU lawmakers are bending to UAE
pressure and influence. Parliament even removed all references to the
UAE’s role in the war — after direct lobbying from Emirati officials in
Strasbourg.

deliver the petition to key EU institutions before any deal can be
finalized.
Our community has always stood for justice — from blocking dirty fossil
fuel investments to protecting civilians in conflict zones. Now we must
act again to stop this dangerous deal and defend lives in Sudan.
