Just in: Heritage just released TIDALWAVE, an unprecedented AI-enabled simulation of a protracted conflict between the U.S. and China in the Indo-Pacific.

  • “The United States remains woefully unprepared," says Rob Greenway, director of the Allison Center for National Security and lead author of the TIDALWAVE report.
  • The goal of TIDALWAVE is to identify the deficiencies in both U.S. and Chinese munitions and fuel systems, in order to correct America’s own deficiencies and exploit China’s.

Being green: “Greenland has been a national security concern of the United States since the 19th century,” writes Robert Peters, senior research fellow in the Allison Center for National Security, and President Trump is only the most recent to express interest in it.

  • Peters says the U.S., Denmark, and Greenland have the chance “to craft a future that works to the advantage of all three countries.”

Shameful: The bad actors who disrupted a church service in Minneapolis should be held accountable under state and federal law, says Heritage Senior Legal Fellow Zach Smith.

  • “The First Amendment right to assemble and protest, or even a weaponized reading of the freedom of the press, does not provide protection for violating others’ First Amendment rights to freely worship,” he explains.

Trump’s Debt Diet Is Working

Economics 101: President Trump is restoring fiscal sanity to the federal government, despite headwinds from the Swamp.

  • “The combination of reducing Treasury outlays and increasing receipts reduces the budget deficit and may lead to lower inflation, stabilized prices, and supply-side private sector growth—all of which will usher in a golden era of affordability for Americans,” writes Heritage Senior Research Associate Nicole Huyer.

Here’s an Under-the-Radar Idea Congress Can Pass This Year to Tackle Big Tech

Sunset: Congress has tried multiple times to combat Big Tech abuses to no avail. One way to break the logjam would be to simply sunset the much-ballyhooed “Section 230,” which lets Big Tech escape liability.

  • “If enacted, the sunset could break Big Tech’s seemingly impenetrable stranglehold on the legislative process, forcing Congress to protect kids online and secure Americans’ freedom from censorship,” writes Daniel Cochrane, research associate at Heritage.
