I really didn't want to send this email, but you deserve to know the truth.

Our critical fundraising deadline just passed… and we came up short.

I did everything I could–reached out to every supporter, sent emails,
texts–but we still missed the mark.

And now, I'm seriously worried.

We're in a critical fight to take back Oregon's 5th District from the Left,
and without immediate support, we're at real risk of falling behind FOR GOOD.
