A NOTE FROM CHRISSY

I always say that there is work to be done, and that is as true today as ever. That's why I believe it is so important that you hear directly from me about what I've been doing in Congress for you, your family, and your community. Here's what I've been working on this past month:

U.S. Rep. Chrissy Houlahan holds town hall tackling systemic racism in policing Every single one of us shares the responsibility of combating the systemic racism that has plagued our country since its founding. This town hall was a first step toward working together to address the police brutality and racism in our communities through comprehensive policies.

Houlahan, others support health care expansion One of my biggest priorities has always been to protect and expand access to quality, affordable health care, and I was proud to help pass recent legislation in the House that does just that.

Congress's bipartisan national-service bill would be a powerful tonic for what's ailing America To help create jobs for Americans across the country – especially in the face of the ongoing pandemic – I'm leading the bipartisan push to expand national-service programs and hire hundreds of thousands of new workers.

The Wall Street Journal House Passes Defense Bill After Trump Issues Formal Veto Threat As the only Pennsylvanian on the Armed Services Committee, I'm proud to deliver bipartisan results for our national security. This bill provides a pay raise for our servicemembers, improves military family housing, increases access to childcare, invests in research and development to address emerging threats, and funds an Indo-Pacific Reassurance Initiative to counter Chinese aggression. I was also proud to once again stand up for our talented workforce at the Sikorsky plant in Coatesville. READ MORE

As our families and communities continue to grapple with so many critical issues during these challenging times, I promise to keep doing everything I can to make sure you and your loved ones have the support you need – now and always. There is work to be done, and I can't thank you enough for being such an important part of this team. Talk soon, Chrissy While Chrissy is focused on delivering progress in the House, fundraising is the last thing on her mind. But November will be here before we know it, and we have to make sure she has the resources to win – so we're asking for her:

Will you make a donation to help reelect Chrissy to Congress? Your support will make such a difference in our work to keep this critical seat in Pennsylvania blue and defend our House majority this November.
