Justice for Alex Pretti and All Harmed by ICE:
What You Can Do

The Arlington Young Democrats condemn the immigration enforcement agents who killed Alex Jeffrey Pretti—a 37-year-old U.S. citizen, veteran, and ICU nurse. We grieve not only for Alex, but also for Renée Good and for the many others who have died as a result of ICE violence and abuse, including people who never should have been in ICE custody to begin with.

Rather than issuing another statement, we are focusing on what our community can do in this moment: pressure our elected officials and share concrete resources for immigrants and those engaging in protest and mutual aid.

Call to Action

Call or email Senators Kaine and Warner and urge them to oppose any appropriations bill that includes funding for ICE. Be polite, be direct, and identify yourself as a constituent.
