John,

Across the country, hundreds of thousands of working people have taken to the streets to denounce ICE and Kristi Noem’s out-of-control Department of Homeland Security. Communities are leaning on their neighbors to deliver groceries, organizing ICE patrols, boycotting complicit corporations, and countless other acts of resistance.

This is true courage in the face of authoritarian violence. And it’s costing more and more innocent lives each day. It’s past time for Congress to join working people on the frontlines.

SEND A LETTER NOW

This week the Senate will vote on additional funding for the Department of Homeland Security. They have a decision to make. Will they vote for authoritarianism, or will they stand in solidarity with working people in defense of democracy?

Our immigrant coworkers have experienced the violence of the American deportation machine for decades. Now, that violence is spilling out of the shadows and into our streets. Working people and their families want safe places for their children to learn, food in their bellies, care when they’re sick, and a warm place to call home. Not a bloated budget that funds a masked militia.

Tell your Senator to STEP UP: Vote NO to ICE Funding!
