Tonight, Sunday Jan 25, please join us at Sutro Heights Park at 5 PM for a candlelight vigil honoring Alex Pretti and the other victims of ICE.
Alex Pretti and Renee Good were murdered while heroically defending their community from abduction and abuse. We will hold space for their courage and learn how to help our own communities.
We will have battery-powered tealights and leaflets available for you.
Sutro Heights Park is accessible by the 38 Muni Line, and we will meet at 48th Ave and Point Lobos Ave.
To keep up-to-date with same-day events, please join our Rapid Response Signal group. Our original line is full (!) so we opened a second group for you. Please ONLY join it if you aren’t already on the Indivisible SF Rapid Response signal chat.
ONLY if you are NOT already on a Rapid Response chat, please join it via this link. https://signal.group/#CjQKICXQToiK_dQCpiLUn2S0I9eftOU12VVUExh94WeUmkgbEhAweWnttiwpY4Vuak0iCn4L
We urge community members to join their local Adopt-a-Corner group by going to https://ndlon.org/adopt-a-day-labor-corner/.
These are non-violent, peaceful protests. We expect all attendees to follow our rules for peaceful protest.
If you are an at-risk community member, we do not recommend attending these actions.
