If you’ve ever watched a Congressional Hearing, you know I often had to "reclaim my time" as witnesses try to avoid answering questions about how they’ve taken advantage of taxpayer money, shortchanged employees, or misled Americans.
I get a lot of fundraising emails from different candidates, and I know they don’t always answer a fundamental question: Why should I give you my hard earned money?
So in the interest of reclaiming YOUR time, here are just a few reasons why your support is so critical in this race:
1) Extreme Republicans are leading in the polls. Two different MAGA candidates have polled in first place, seriously threatening to keep any Democrats from advancing to the general election.
2) My billionaire opponent has already given his campaign $28 million. $17 million has already been spent on TV ads, and more spending is likely to come. We can’t let him buy this election.
3) I’m the only candidate running who has the experience and grit to bring down costs and fight for everyday Californians. The other candidates might talk a big game, but they are either out-of-touch or just don’t care about us.
