You may have heard this from a campaign or two John, but we’re now less than 100 days away from Election Day.
That may seem like a lot of time but trust me, it’s not. And the schedule for us here at Vote From Home 2020 is even more condensed. We need to get mail-in ballot applications to voters in battleground states before the application deadline.
The deadline to apply to vote by mail in Pennsylvania is October 27th and Michigan is October 30th, so we need to mail ballot applications well before then.
With the July end-of-month deadline fast approaching, we’re counting on grassroots supporters to help reach our goal. Making our democracy work and defeating Trump starts with having more voters ‘turnout’ from home, so please consider supporting Vote From Home 2020 with a grassroots donation.
We know Republicans will do whatever they can to suppress voter turnout in 2020. We’ve seen Trump lay the groundwork by falsely claiming mail-in voter fraud and we’ve seen long lines and voting machine issues in predominantly communities of color.
But Vote From Home 2020 has already made a difference. After the chaotic primary election in Georgia, we’re reaching out to the voters who stood in line with mail-in ballot applications to make sure their voices are heard in November.
The plan is simple: Get as many Democratic voters to cast their ballots from home, which is the best way to defeat Trump.
For every $25, we can send 20 applications to voters in key states like North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. And with margins as razor thin as they were in 2016, increased mail-in voters could mean the difference between winning or losing this election.
So if you can, please consider chipping in before our end of month deadline.
