Poynter Perks: An exclusive conversation with Poynter president Neil Brown

You rely on journalism to inform your decisions and better understand our complex world. This year in particular, fact-based information can help you keep your family safe.

Join Poynter president Neil Brown and development director Josh Herrington for a free, invite-only conversation hosted for Poynter donors. You'll get a behind-the-scenes look at the work Poynter is doing to make good journalism better, thanks to your generous support. We’ll explore the value of local news; misinformation, disinformation, who to trust and what’s at stake; and how you can help build journalism’s future.

While at the Times, he launched PolitiFact which now resides at Poynter. At Poynter, Neil has overseen the launches of the Center for Ethics and Leadership and Poynter's digital media literacy program, MediaWise.
