There’s no doubt James won on the debate stage earlier! He proved why he’s Democrats’ best chance to take back Texas in November.
He refused to take part in the dirty politics that we all hate. Instead, he reminded folks that the biggest divide in this country is not left vs. right — it’s top vs. bottom, and that our number one goal must be taking back power from the billionaire mega-donors and their puppet politicians.
James offered a clear, positive vision for what’s possible if we take back Texas and take back power for working people. Our campaign is in the best position to win given James’ record and grassroots infrastructure — and when we do, it will transform what is possible in our state.
But billionaires and the corporate media will do anything to pit us against each other because it allows them to profit off the status quo. That’s why they’re flooding millions of dollars into this race.
Our opponents will spend ridiculous sums of money to smear James and defeat our movement. It’s going to take lots and lots of donations from people like you to make sure we don’t get drowned out.
