Herbert, it’s Raja, and I’m coming to you with an urgent update on the state of our race for Senate: 

We just learned that our opponent’s dark money Super PAC has reserved nearly $500,000 in ads over the next week. 

As a reminder: this dark money super PAC hasn’t disclosed one single donor.

We have no idea who is funding these ads. No idea what kind of special interests think they can buy this seat. 

And to make it all worse: this shady organization has already been caught breaking the law and misleading Illinois voters.

This is exactly the kind of corruption I’m fighting like hell against.

Look, we’re in the home stretch of our race. There are just 12 days remaining until the first votes are cast, and this will be the toughest and ugliest part of this campaign yet. 

In these final weeks, we’re expecting more shady tactics thrown at us — and an absolute flood of dark money supporting our opponent on the airwaves. 

We need to be prepared for anything that comes our way, Herbert. That means we need to keep our own ads on the air, keep our volunteers out on the streets, and keep mobilizing the voters we need to win.
