Hi John,
I want to start with something simple. Thank you.
As this campaign grows, more and more people are choosing to be part of
it.
That kind of support still catches me off guard in the best way. It
reminds me that this race is bigger than me. It is about our community and
what we believe is possible.
Running for Congress was not some lifelong plan.
But I know what it means to struggle in this district. There were moments
when food insecurity hit so hard that my mom, my three sisters, and I
would wait hours in a food drive line, similar to the ones I volunteer for
now.
Those experiences shape everything I do. They are why I believe working
people in CA-34 deserve representation that comes from lived reality, not
from corporate boardrooms or lobbyist fundraisers.
Right now, our community is being treated like a political commodity. The
incumbent has taken money from corporate PACs, AIPAC, and real estate
lobbyists while everyday people are pushed further to the margins.
Challenging that kind of power is not easy. But this campaign was never
supposed to be easy. It was supposed to be honest.
If you are able, I am asking you to help us keep going by becoming a
Foundational donor today. Any amount truly makes a difference. Here is
your personal link:

I believe deeply in what we are building together. A grassroots movement
rooted in dignity, care, and real accountability.
Thank you for believing in me and in this vision for our city.
With gratitude,
Angela
