Jack — Brace yourself for new tax hikes in 2026! Gavin Newsom and state and local Democrats are once again on a spending spree, funding billions in free taxpayer-funded handouts to illegal immigrants and pet projects like the Green New Deal — all while middle-class families are stuck paying the bill! And there could be hundreds of tax increase measures on the ballot this fall as a result!

But we can stop them if you get involved ASAP! Can you chip in to the fight?

California Democrats have blown a massive hole in the state budget, and now they’re scrambling. Their so-called wealth tax is already backfiring — driving high earners out of the state and shrinking revenues — which means Sacramento will do what it always does next: shift the burden onto you with higher taxes, fees, and utility costs.

And where is Gavin Newsom while this mess grows worse?

At the World Economic Forum, lecturing global elites — as if someone overseeing record deficits, the highest taxes in America, rising unemployment, and a crushing cost of living has anything to teach the world about economic leadership.

California is staring at a perfect storm:

  • Budget deficits papered over with gimmicks and borrowing
  • A failed wealth tax that will hit the middle class next
  • More tax hikes coming to “fix” Democrat overspending at the state and local level

This is exactly why Gavin Newsom should never be president — and why we must elect Republicans locally who will stop the damage before it gets worse.

The Republican Party of San Diego County is gearing up now to:

  • Fight incoming tax hikes
  • Flip key seats in 2026
  • Restore fiscal sanity and accountability

But we can’t do it without you.

Every dollar helps us organize, turn out voters, and push back against the one-party rule that created this mess.

Newsom may be chasing headlines overseas — but we’re fighting for families right here at home.

Thank you for standing with us,

Paula Whitsell
Chairwoman, Republican Party of San Diego County
