Unfortunately, Charlie's Pit is not the only illegal pit they allow to continue for years on end. We also continue to report and watch the “Honest Abe” pit in McCreary County and the “Shaker Hill” pit in Butler County. SHARK has provided ample evidence, including damning undercover footage from inside the pits, but the state police either ignore the documentation or claim they need warrants without ever attempting to get one.
We stated in no uncertain terms that our determination to end cockfighting has not wavered, and we will continue to hunt down these criminals. Hopefully, the KSP and Kentucky government generally will see that we are serious and will take necessary action to shut down these criminals.
