Earlier this month, the White House launched a webpage that spreads misinformation about the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol – downplaying the violence, attacking law enforcement, and attempting to rewrite one of the darkest days in our democracy.

Did you see this, friend?

Earlier this month, the White House launched a webpage that spreads misinformation about the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol – downplaying the violence, attacking law enforcement, and attempting to rewrite one of the darkest days in our democracy.

Let’s be clear about the facts: January 6 was a violent insurrection. Police officers were attacked. The Capitol was breached. And the goal was to overturn a free and fair election.

Now, instead of telling the truth, the White House is using its official platform to push falsehoods and conspiracy theories – the same lies that fueled the attack in the first place.

Misinformation from the highest levels of government doesn’t just distort history. It erodes trust in our democracy.

As Colorado’s Secretary of State, I’ve spent years confronting election lies head-on and standing up to extremists who try to undermine the will of the voters. I’ve seen firsthand how words from powerful leaders can put election workers, public servants, and voters at risk.

Colorado needs a leader who will defend the truth, uphold the rule of law, and push back when those in power abuse their position to undermine democracy.

If you’re alarmed by this, you’re not alone. Chip in today to help us fight back against lies and defend our democracy.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

This race matters. The truth matters. And we cannot allow January 6 to be erased or rewritten.

Thank you for standing with us.
