Dear Morningside Center friends,

We've found that affinity groups can be a powerful tool for advancing racial awareness and equity in schools. But how do they work? See below for details on next week's webinar introducing white educators to this process - and sign up now. Plus, registration is now open for our upcoming AFT webinars on SEL in the Covid era and Creating an Affirmative Space for All. See below.

Also in this issue, read about why the social and emotional well-being of educators has to be a priority this year. You'll also find a new activity that has students use playlists to tell stories about their lives. It's a way to connect and inspire our students. Enjoy!
