John — I’m about to step on the debate stage with Jasmine Crockett.
This is a big moment for our campaign as Texas voters are still making up their minds as we head into early voting soon.
In this debate, I’ll make my case directly to them — how I’ll flip this Senate seat and fight for working people in the U.S. Senate. I’ll share my record of taking on corruption in Texas and my history flipping a Trump district in a red county.
We need to be ready for anything that comes our way after the debate and make sure we have the resources to make our case to every voter in Texas.
And one thing about debates is that they require time, which means less time for fundraising. My team will tell you there were no complaints from me on that. I hate that part of the job.
