Across the country, ICE is escalating its operations — and the
consequences are devastating.
Families are being ripped apart. Communities are living in fear. And lives
are being lost in the name of “enforcement.” This is scary and cruel, and
it shouldn't be happening.
Instead of taking responsibility or working to prevent these tragedies,
the Trump administration is doing what it always does: closing ranks and
protecting itself.
The Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice are
brushing this violence under the rug, spinning the story to defend their
own power rather than telling the truth or standing up for the people
they’re supposed to serve. It’s shameful.
But the Squad is fighting back — demanding accountability, calling out
abuses of power, and pushing for bold, progressive change that centers
human dignity over cruelty. They refuse to accept a system that terrorizes
communities and treats immigrant lives as expendable. But they can’t do
this alone.
Even in
moments like this, we’ve seen something powerful. People across the
country are rising up to demand accountability. Thousands of grassroots
supporters, families, neighbors, and people refusing to stay silent have
joined the call to abolish ICE and fundamentally rethink a system that
profits from cruelty and punishment.
We’re under no illusions: real change won’t come easily. It will take
collective power — sustained organizing, political courage, and resources
— to force accountability and win justice. That’s where you come in.
