With all the chaos unleashed by Trump and ICE here in Minnesota, I’ve had to take some time away from my campaign for reelection. We’ve had bigger fish to fry over the last month or so.
That said, I finally had a moment to meet with my finance team recently. We reviewed some proposed investments in voter outreach for the campaign; ads, mailers, canvassers, and more.
The problem is that right now, the money for these investments just isn’t in the budget right now. But I made the difficult decision to move forward anyway, hoping that this incredible team could help us close any fundraising gaps.
It’s my hope that I can stay on top of the fight against this administration, from the streets of Minneapolis to the halls of Congress, and that supporters like you will have my back.
