Because Senate Republicans stood firm, the average American family is going to see $3,700 more in their pockets this year. We made the increase in the Standard Deduction and the Child Tax Credit permanent.
We didn’t just give you a temporary patch; we gave American families lasting relief. The Democrats voted against this. They wanted more spending, higher taxes, and radical policies. Now, they are plotting to undo our progress. If they take back the Senate, they will undo all of the progress we made for working families. We can’t let that happen.
