With a virtual monopoly on search traffic, Google has the ability to effectively create and present their own reality to those searching on their platform. While this is something Google would never admit to, there’s evidence they *probably* altered search results during the 2016 election to make them more favorable to Hillary Clinton and less charitable to Donald Trump.

COVID-19 Authoritarianism Takes on Dining (Again)
The rapid onset of COVID-19 has prompted an onslaught of government edicts, some backed by the scientific consensus while others are entirely obscure, arbitrary, and nonsensical. These edicts have included: the mandatory wearing of face masks, the closure of certain industries, the closure of specific aisles of the local grocery store, and now the government’s definition of a restaurant meal.
