Run for Something

Hi John,

For decades, political scientists and campaign workers have drooled at the possibility of young people going to the polls en masse -- there are enough of us to swing an election one way or another.

But for decades, too many candidates have neglected, overlooked, and flat out shunned young voters (to their detriment), thinking it's just too hard and requires too many resources to get them to show up. At Run for Something, we focus on getting young people to run, but we also believe it's just as critical to make sure young people vote.

That's why we're excited to announce that this week's Armchair Chat will feature two experts on youth engagement: Sarah Audelo, Executive Director of the Alliance for Youth Action, and Ben Wessel, Director of NextGen Rising.

We'll explore how campaigns can authentically engage young voters and frame messages that will resonate with them.

Do you want to learn how to bring the next generation of activists and leaders into the political process? Join this week's Armchair Chat, Wednesday, at 6 p.m. (ET). RSVP now >>

RUN FOR SOMETHING PRESENTS ARMCHAIR CHAT: YOUTH VOTER ENGAGEMENT Hear from Alliance for Youth Action Executive Director, Sarah Audelo and Director of NextGen Rising, Ben Wessel, as we discuss effective tactics to reach, mobilize, and engage young voters.
