Accountability for taxpayer dollars is long overdue. On Wednesday, I joined my fellow Ways and Means Republicans in calling on the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to overhaul its oversight of the non-profit sector as the ongoing Somali fraud scandal in Minnesota continues to expose corrupt actions, theft, and embezzlement of tax dollars. We are demanding an end to the Biden Administration’s hands-off approach that cost Americans billions.

This week I helped introduce the SCAM Act with Whip Emmer, this bill will hold fraudsters and criminals accountable and protect the integrity of American citizenship.

This week, we finished the work the American people sent us here to do by completing the final four appropriations bills for Fiscal Year 2026. To help limit the growth and cost of the federal government, all 12 funding bills were passed out of the House at below Biden-era levels.
