Email from Rep. Crawford First District- As you are aware, we are expected to be in the path of a historic winter storm this weekend that will bring freezing temperatures and significant snow and ice. Governor Sanders has already declared a state of emergency to unlock key resources for Arkansans. As a reminder: Stock up on essentials, including water and non-perishables. Ensure you have all medications required. Charge your devices and keep them fully charged. Fill up your vehicles and any gas cans with gas. Drip your faucets to prevent frozen pipes. Salt your driveway and sidewalks. If you have a generator, set it up away from your home or garage. Bring all pets inside. Refrain from driving on the roads unless it’s an emergency. Prepare an emergency kit before driving that includes extra clothing, blankets, water, flashlights, basic first-aid, etc. Additionally, below find links to helpful storm resources.
