The Young Democrats of Georgia doesn't have a staff budget... yet. But we need to fill these positions now! If you have experience on a campaign or with an advocacy organization and are interested in leveraging your talents to support Young Democrats, we need you! Please email YDG President Rachel Paule if you are interested in any of the following positions.

** POLL WORKER
------------------------------------------------------------

Poll workers (as opposed to poll “watchers”) are paid positions with your county of residence. We need good people working in polling locations across the State who are committed to providing access to the polls!

The counties train you, pay you, and you get to see the inner workings of election administration. Expect to work a full day on election day, and during the early vote period as well. To apply, you must be at least 16 years of age, and a resident of the county in which you are applying to work, and able to read, write, and understand English. You cannot be a candidate for public office, hold public office, or the close family member of a candidate or holder of public office.

** Progressive Pipeline
------------------------------------------------------------

This fall, Progressive Pipeline is partnering with the Working Families Party ([link removed]) to deploy organizers in New York, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, South Carolina, and Georgia. The fellowship will run from August 24 through Election Day. It is a full-time commitment. They’ll offer you training, coaching, and support, along with a competitive stipend.
