John, I’m an immigrant and I’m scared.

It’s been a while since you heard from me, so let me explain where I’ve been…

I’ve been doing what I’m always doing: Running VOT and organizing other Gen Zers against the far right. But with Trump targeting his political opposition and going after immigrants, I’ve taken on more behind the scenes work.

That’s the America we’re living in, John. I’m here legally, but still live in fear daily, because the Trump Administration does not care if I’m here legally or not.

His team is brutalizing immigrants regardless of status (and brutalizing citizens born in the US too), and they’re showing no signs of slowing down.

But with an election this November, I’m going to keep doing my part despite their intimidation. I’m going to keep working to mobilize Gen Z in key states — and help defeat this extremism at the ballot box in November.
