New Hampshire’s First District is a make-or-break contest for Democrats this midterm.

This is a true swing seat: it has changed hands between Democrats and Republicans five times since the year 2000. Cook Political rates this district as D+2: a razor-thin margin that leaves no room for error.

Press Secretary and compulsive liar Karoline Leavitt was the GOP nominee for this district in 2022. She lost badly, and now MAGA is targeting me and working to flip this district as part of Donald Trump’s revenge tour against Democrats.

I am a first-generation Mexican-American son of immigrants. I fought for human rights as an attorney and have served as a military officer and lawyer representing soldiers when no one else was in their corner. As Special Counsel in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, I tackled some of the nation's toughest national security challenges.

And I have fought my whole life for progressive solutions to problems like healthcare (we need Medicare for All), building more affordable housing, and fighting for Labor and fair wages. 

I have a real track record that will resonate with voters here. MAGA knows it, and they are scared.
