First things first: I’m back on the farm preparing for the storm headed our
way. As I sat down to write this, the ice storm warning came through. Y’all,
don’t take this lightly—stay safe, check on your friends and be ready to hunker
down tomorrow.

There was plenty to be ticked off about in our spending spree yesterday. Some
of it was good—a lot of it was disgusting. We funded the Department of Homeland
Security, and I’m down with that. We need ICE, and we need a border.



What am I mad about? My colleagues didn’t have the guts to make the cuts
President Trump wanted. Instead, the left cheered as “Republicans” voted for
$1.17 trillion in appropriations.A chunk of that will inevitably go to
mutilating children and serve the trans agenda. There’s a lot of other junk in
