My name is Dani Sterbinksy, and I am a Navy veteran and Democrat running to represent Arizona’s 9th Congressional district. 

When I served, I swore an oath to protect our country from enemies both foreign and domestic. 

That’s one of the main reasons I took the leap and ran for Congress: my opponent, MAGA extremist Paul Gosar, is one of the biggest threats to America currently serving in Congress.

He has documented ties to the America First Action Committee conference organized by Nick Fuentes, a self-described white supremacist and proud racist who idolizes Hitler.

He was instrumental in organizing the “Stop the Steal Rally” alongside militant right-wing groups that turned into a violent insurrection against our Capitol on January 6th. 

He was once censured in Congress for posting a video depicting violence against Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

And perhaps worst of all was what he told a far-right militant group:

Paul Gosar is a dangerous, violent man, and a clear threat to this country. 

He has not used his power in Congress to do good for his constituents by lowering prices, making housing affordable, or giving them healthcare.

He has used his position to advocate for a second Civil War in this country, to perpetuate violence against Democrats and those who oppose his white nationalist ideology.

And you don’t have to take it from me that Paul Gosar is a white nationalist, his own family has said he is and have publicly disowned him.

My time in the Navy may have come to an end, but I’m convinced that the best thing I can do right now to continue defending this country is defeating Paul Gosar. 

It won’t be easy. Gosar is funded by MAGA billionaires who love his twisted ideology and how it pits Americans against each other. But I am no stranger to difficult missions, and I have a good team by my side—the thousands of Democrats nationwide who have rallied to support my campaign.
