100 Days Out, But a Lifetime of Activism

Though the 2020 elections are ramping up, it's important to remember that winning an election wont fix everything

This past Sunday marked an important date in the race to the White House. We are officially 100 days out from the 2020 election! Well, 99 days by the time you read this email (also- tired of emails? Text "OUR POWER" to 954-954 and let's talk there!).

In 2018, we showed the nation what OUR POWER looks like and broke records with historically high youth voter turnout. We voted for our lives, and our voices were heard. Teen Vogue talks all about our historic victories in the House, where we elected the most diverse congress yet. 

Grassroots campaigns and volunteers are phonebanking, textbanking, and organizing day and night for their candidate to win in this year in November, but it is so important to know that the fight does not stop at the ballot box.

Winning an election won't solve all of our problems, but we're not going to give even an inch of OUR POWER away- we will be heard.

Meet Celina From the Civics Center!

Hi March, I am Celina, the outreach assistant at The Civic Center! We help to educate students like you on how to hold digital or in-person (but always fun!) voter registration drives.
