Message from the Chief: Community is what Keeps Community Safe
The Mendota Heights Police Department enforces state and local criminal laws. We, like most other police departments, are not legally authorized to enforce immigration laws. Our policy on how we respond to alleged immigration violations, as well as how we respond to assemblies, is located here.
Fear in our community is palpable and some are folks are wondering what they can do. I encourage people to show up for one another, and prioritize individual and community safety while doing so.
As always, please feel free to email me at [email protected] with any questions or comments you may have.
