FBI agents spill on Keystone Kash’s "crazy" diva demands

Stunning new admissions from FBI agents reveal that Kash Patel is far more interested in using the FBI directorship to jet-set and vacation than actually enforce the law. Agents were shocked at the "special requirements on everything" that Patel made during his attendance of this year's Five Eyes conference, an annual event attended by security and intelligence officials from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

Patel reportedly was complaining that he had to go to meetings and would rather they take place at social events, soccer matches, while jet skiing, or during helicopter tours. "Everyone who heard about this was like: Hold on. Is he really going to ask the MI5 director to go jet skiing instead of meeting? The schedule is set, and every Five Eyes partner is doing this. They can't just say that he’s not participating and instead he wants to go to a Premier soccer game. This is a job, guys," one agent told The New York Times. And, of course, Patel tried to bring his girlfriend with him to Windsor Castle. Look, Kash, nobody likes going to meetings, but what did you really think being the DIRECTOR OF THE FBI entailed?

VIDEO OF THE DAY: Trump issues pathetic, brazen order to Justice Department — via Truth Social

America's petulant nincompoop-in-chief could not pull himself away from the television yesterday, as former special counsel Jack Smith publicly testified before a House committee and calmly laid out the overwhelming evidence of the president's criminal wrongdoing in the aftermath of the 2020 election and the stolen classified documents scandal that followed.

Trump thumb-smashed a thinly veiled order to Attorney General Pam Bondi on Truth Social that she should "[look] at what he's done" and demanded that a "big price" be paid by Smith for daring to adhere to and defend the rule of law. For a guy who endlessly claimed he was a victim of weaponization by an overzealous DOJ for the four years he was out of office, Trump sure has changed his tune since returning to power.

Union ironworker takes on Big Lie-pushing MAGA radical in battle for critical House seat

Brian Poindexter for Congress: Brian Poindexter is a union worker and city councilman who has worked hard his entire life in machine shops, on construction sites, driving trucks, and serving my neighbors. He’s the perfect candidate to win over the working-class voters of Ohio’s 7th district, which is currently represented by a Republican who has spent his entire political career being handed jobs by Donald Trump — and racking up a slew of nasty allegations, including domestic violence. Will you chip in to help jump-start Brian’s campaign and help Democrats pick up this vital House seat?

JD Vance: Nonwhite citizens — including cops — targeted by ICE must have done something
Uh, okay. If you count "being Black or brown" or "looking like an immigrant" as "doing something," then JD isn't *technically* wrong, but the vice president's flimsy assurances that the Trump administration takes allegations of racial profiling seriously are beyond laughable. Profiling IS the operation. ICE goons in Minneapolis are routinely sweeping US citizens up, including off-duty police officers who all just happen to be people of color.

Brooklyn Park Police Chief Mark Bruley shared his dismay earlier this week, stating, "We know our officers know what the Constitution is, they know what right and wrong is, and they know when people are being targeted. If it is happening to our officers, it pains me to think how many of our community members are falling victim to this every day. It has to stop."

Take Action: Stop the coverup of deaths in ICE custody!

White House shares altered image showing arrest of civil rights attorney in Minnesota

For anyone still wondering just how far the Trump regime will go to vilify, demonize, and other any American who dares to challenge their fascist assault on democracy, the answer is "as low as humanly possible, and then some." Nekima Levy Armstrong, a prominent civil rights attorney and former president of the Minneapolis chapter of the NAACP, was arrested earlier this week for daring to protest the egregious actions of Donald's Temu Gestapo goon squad.

On its official nüTwitter page, the White House shared an image of a visibly distraught Levy Armstrong sobbing, with her arms behind her back. The problem? She wasn't actually crying. At all. The image was clearly manipulated to make the moment appear far more dramatic than it actually was. When you can't instill actual fear in the people you are trying to oppress, just fake it with AI-slop, we guess? Like a page taken straight out of Alex Jones' wet cement playbook, the plan is simple: if you just flood the zone with your preferred version of the "truth," the masses will have a trickier time discerning what's actually real, and by the time the truth comes out opinions will have hardened, facts be damned.

House narrowly passes ICE funding bill — with Democratic support after Hakeem Jeffries declined to whip against it
They say never throw the baby out with the bath water, but when it comes to the cesspool overflowing in the US Capitol right now, it just might be time to reconsider. For any Democratic lawmaker to gift Trump's Gestapo goon squad with billions more in funding at this point is morally reprehensible — and grounds for an aggressive primary challenge. But for Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries to simply stand by and refuse to whip his caucus in defense of freedom itself is borderline unforgivable. We cannot elect new leadership in the House soon enough. Jeffries has got to go.

JD Vance unironically compares American economy under Trump to the Titanic
The vice president's curious metaphor is, without question, the most honest admission to come out of the Trump regime to date. Hats off, sir. We can't believe we're saying this, but we completely agree with you.

Trump claims details on Greenland "deal" details will be ready in "two weeks"
Other big-ticket items Trump promised in "two weeks' time" but failed to actually deliver include: a GOP healthcare bill, action on the federal minimum wage, punishment for pharmaceutical companies accused of price gouging Americans, various trade deals, phantom infrastructure deals, and — on perpetual repeat, of course — an end to Russia's war on Ukraine. Excuse us if we aren't buying Donald's ham-fisted repackaging of his Greenland retreat.

Jack Smith faces off against Republicans in public hearing
Jack Smith has no regrets about pushing criminal charges against Donald Trump, the former special counsel told lawmakers on Thursday. "President Trump was charged because the evidence established that he willfully broke the law, the very laws that he took an oath to uphold," Smith said in his opening statement before the House Judiciary Committee. Smith secured two grand jury indictments against the cartoonishly corrupt swindler for his schemes to overturn the 2020 presidential election result and his hoarding of classified documents after the end of his first term as president.

Since the Justice Department has a policy against prosecuting a sitting president, the cases simply went away after the MAGA cult leader returned to the White House, and Smith never had a chance to take Trump to trial. Thursday’s hearing was Smith’s first chance to defend his work in public ― and to square off against some of the servile Republicans who've spent years vilifying him for daring to prosecute some of the most obvious crimes in American history.

Trump disinvites Canada from his "Board of Peace" days after Mark Carney’s blistering speech at Davos
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney was formally disinvited to join Donald Trump's crackpot "Board of Peace" days after delivering a withering rebuke of the MAGA cult leader's world-destabilizing agenda at the World Economic Forum. An obviously irritated and chastened Trump thumb-smashed his decision to withdraw Canada's invitation Thursday night after Carney quite clearly stole the show and won the headlines over his American counterpart in Davos, Switzerland.

More than 20 world leaders have said they will join Donald's board focused on securing peace in conflict zones, a group which laughably includes Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko, and Hungary's Viktor Orban. Vladimir Putin's invitation is outstanding. Nations who've curiously declined to join include stalwart American allies like the UK, France, Spain, Norway, Sweden, and Greece, with many others waffling in the wings. Make of that what you will.
