The EU Commission is about to surrender the personal data and DNA
information of nearly half a billion people to Donald Trump’s border
agency.

The only way to stop this catastrophic violation of privacy is to put
pressure on MEPs before this shady deal is signed. We don’t have much
time, take action NOW:

John,

Donald Trump is about to get a terrifying gift from the European Union:
direct access to our biometric data and, possibly, our DNA.

EU officials are quietly negotiating a deal that would let US agencies
search through European databases. This isn't just about fingerprints. A
leaked Commission document reveals the scope is chilling: the data that
could be transferred includes our ethnicity, political opinions, religious
beliefs, and even our genetic information.

This is a toolkit for racial profiling and surveillance on a terrifying
scale.

And it’s happening as Trump’s new “National Security Strategy” openly
attacks Europe as “weak” and “decaying,” frames diversity as a threat, and
signals support for far-right political forces across the continent. The
EU can’t possibly be serious about handing over the personal data and
information of nearly half a billion people to a foreign power —
especially the Trump administration.

We can stop this, but we have to move fast. If we create enough public
outcry right now, we can empower MEPs to scrap this deal before it’s
signed.

Trump’s digital surveillance.

Imagine Trump’s administration having your genetic information or your
political leanings just so they can decide if they want to let you board a
plane or not. It’s a massive breach of trust and a direct threat to our
most fundamental rights.

Even the EU's own data protection supervisor, Wojciech Wiewiórowski, is
sounding the alarm. He warns that this agreement would create a “major
precedent”: for the first time, the EU would transfer large volumes of
personal data to the border authorities of another country.

The EU claims this is necessary for "security" and visa-free travel. But
true security doesn't come from surrendering our most intimate secrets to
a foreign power that views our human rights values as a threat.

We’ve beaten mass surveillance before — when thousands of us pushed
regulators to block Big Tech from harvesting people’s data to train AI in
Brazil. Together, we can do it again.
