We only get one shot to make sure every voice is counted – and if we don’t get this right, there are major consequences:
- When extreme weather, fueled by the climate crisis, devastates our communities, we might not be deploying help where it’s needed most.
- When permits are being granted for polluters, risk assessments considering the health impacts of new facilities on nearby communities might not be based on accurate data – leaving us at risk.
- And we might not have the fair and accurate representation we need to follow through on the will of the vast majority of Americans, and pass the legislation we need to get to a zero pollution future.
The Census matters. And if we get it wrong, we won’t be able to fix it for ten years. The climate crisis doesn’t have that long to wait.

We know EDF supporters are civic-minded. After all, 2 out of 3 of you regularly vote. But that’s not where our civic duty ends. Before we can be heard, we have to be counted.
Don't let your community be ignored. Be counted today!
Thank you for standing with us,
